Automatic Gate Opening Systems Limited
The Client:
Automatic Gate Opening Systems is a Lower Hutt based importer and distributor of the gate automation hardware. They operate a nationwide team of distributors.
The Requirement:
The site was required to have two separate elements namely:
- A public site that enabled the gates to be profiled to the general public, and
- A private section for distributors to view the catalogue and to order items via the web.
The client also wanted total control over updating of the site.
The Solution:
We built a site entirely in Macromedia
Dreamweaver MX using ASP. The introductory screen to the public site contained a Macromedia Flash animation built around the company logo. Password protection
is in place around the dealers area.
Content to all of the pages is fed from a database
which the client can update via an online form.
Orders are processed online with email notifications being actioned automatically. The client also has the ability to send out mass emails, or to place notices on individual dealers viewing pages.
